Die “14.25oz Black Denim Jacket 1953 Aged Model” von Sugar Cane nimmt die ikonische Jeansjacke der 1950er-Jahre als Vorlage – den klassischen 2nd Type – und bringt sie genau in dem Zustand, den man sonst erst über Jahre erreicht.

Gefertigt aus 14.25oz schwerem Black Denim wurde der Stoff für diese Version gezielt eingetragen: Kanten brechen auf, Nähte werfen markantes Puckering, Druckstellen und Falten sitzen dort, wo sie bei langem Tragen entstehen würden. Das Schwarz wirkt gearbeitet und lebendig, ohne seine Tiefe zu verlieren.

Darunter liegt Sugar Canes Standard Denim – ein Stoff, der konsequent an alten Vorbildern entwickelt wurde. Vom Garn über die Färbung bis zur Webung folgt hier alles dem Anspruch, nicht nur nach Vintage auszusehen, sondern sich auch so anzufühlen.

Der Schnitt bleibt nah an der 1953er Vorlage: zwei Brusttaschen mit Klappen, die typische Frontfalte, seitliche Versteller und eine kompakte, gerade Form mit sauberem Sitz.
