Six Questions Your AmericInn Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We built this hotel franchise business plan in Microsoft Word using our own independent research to model a typical unit's operations and financial performance. All six chapters are pre-populated with data specific to opening a midscale hotel, projecting a path to $1.2 million in first-year revenue and a breakeven point within 4 months of opening. The entire document is fully editable, allowing you to tailor every assumption to your specific location and investment strategy.

Executive Summary: What is the business case for this hotel franchise?

The business case is to establish a modern, midscale hotel that leverages a strong national brand and proprietary 'quiet room' technology to capture high-value business, leisure, and group travelers in a growing commercial hub. The location provides direct access to major corporate, retail, and sports destinations, creating a diverse and resilient demand base. This hotel franchise business plan is built on a solid foundation of market need and brand strength.

Key Objectives

  • Achieve $1.2M in revenue in the first full year of operations.
  • Reach operational breakeven within 4 months of opening, by April 2026.
  • Become the preferred lodging partner for the nearby RecPlex and local corporate offices.
[dynamic_pic9]

Products & Services: What does this hotel offer and why will guests choose it?

The hotel offers a superior midscale lodging experience centered on a 'quiet room' guarantee, providing a peaceful environment for professionals and families. Guests will choose this unit for its unique blend of a cozy, lodge-style atmosphere with modern amenities, a competitive price-to-quality ratio, and its strategic proximity to the area's premier retail and sports venues. The value proposition is clear: a better night's sleep in a more convenient location.

Core Offerings

  • Premium 'quiet room' soundproofing technology for an undisturbed stay.
  • Complimentary signature hot breakfast and access to a modern indoor pool facility.
  • Seamless digital check-in and integration with a global loyalty rewards program.
[dynamic_pic10]

Market Analysis: Who are the target customers and what is the local demand?

The primary target customers are regional business travelers, youth sports teams, and event guests. The hotel is strategically located to serve professionals visiting nearby corporate headquarters, families attending tournaments at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex, and leisure travelers drawn to the Jordan Creek Town Center. This diverse mix ensures consistent demand across weekdays and weekends, which is a key part of the hotel market analysis report.

Customer Segments

  • Regional Business Travelers: Seeking quiet, productive environments near corporate offices.
  • Youth Sports Teams & Families: Requiring reliable, convenient room blocks for tournaments.
  • Leisure & Event Guests: Attending weddings or shopping at the nearby retail hub.
[dynamic_pic11]

Marketing & Sales Plan: How will the hotel attract and retain guests?

The hotel will attract guests by combining the brand's national reservation system with a targeted local marketing strategy. This includes direct corporate sales outreach to West Des Moines financial institutions, forming strategic partnerships with local event planners and the RecPlex for group bookings, and running localized social media campaigns. Retention will be driven by the 'guest-first' digital experience and the robust Wyndham loyalty program, forming a core part of the hotel franchise management and marketing strategy.

Acquisition Channels

  • Direct corporate sales for securing business travel contracts.
  • Partnerships with local venues for exclusive group booking packages.
  • Digital marketing focused on proximity to key local attractions.
[dynamic_pic12]

Management & Organization: Who will run the hotel and what is the staffing plan?

The hotel will be run by an experienced General Manager overseeing a team structured to deliver consistent, high-quality service in line with brand standards. Key roles include an Assistant Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, and Maintenance Technician. The staffing plan scales with occupancy, starting with a core team and expanding front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast attendant staff as revenue grows from $1.2 million in year one to over $2.5 million in year five.

Key Management Roles

  • General Manager: Annual salary of $70,000, responsible for all operations.
  • Assistant Manager: Annual salary of $48,000, supporting the GM and guest services.
  • Housekeeping Supervisor: Annual salary of $42,000, ensuring brand cleanliness standards.
[dynamic_pic13]

Financial Plan: What are the startup costs, revenue potential, and key metrics?

The total startup investment is significant, driven by $850,000 in leasehold improvements and over $1 million in FF&E and technology. The financial model projects first-year revenue of $1.2 million, growing to $2.56 million by year five. Key metrics show a rapid path to profitability, with an operational breakeven achieved in just 4 months and a positive EBITDA of $300,000 in the first year, though full investment payback is projected to occur after year five.

Financial Highlights

  • Year 1 Revenue / EBITDA: $1,200,000 / $300,000.
  • Breakeven Point: Achieved by April 2026, just 4 months after launch.
  • Payback Period: Full return on investment is projected after the 5-year forecast period.

eh
Format: Paperback
IT's not bad at all but they're other "The Simpsons" comic books are way better. I really recommend "Belly Buster" or "Madness" from The Simpsons collection.

"I very nearly singed my bone!"--Melvin Van Horne
Format: Paperback
Another fun-packed issue of Simpsons Comics. This is the 15th issue I've bought and, with only a couple of exceptions, they are all as funny and entertaining as the television show. I've read them all multiple times. This issue is perfect for the Sideshow Mel fan because he is featured in a short that documents how and why he became Sideshow Mel and he is also the hero in another comic. Jimbo Jones fans will like the short about how he became a bully (he wasn't always one). Dr. Hibbert also has a short feature. Here's what this issue has to offer: "Simpson/Sideshow Sibling Smackdown": Cecil Terwilliger and Lisa have something in common--they can't escape from the shadows of their attention-grubbing older brothers. Can they find a rapport even as one is intent on destroying the other? "A Recipe for Disaster"--Marge needs a new dish for the church social pot luck and tries recipes written by "Springfieldian citizens of questionable character." "Homer's Run"--Bart becomes owner of a demanding falcoln ("I have to do everything for him. What a stupid bird") while Homer signs up for early retirement on the Hawaiian Island Garbagio--which looks (and smells) just like it sounds. "Secret Origin of Sideshow Mel"--The background story of how and why Melvin Van Horne became Krusty's sidekick (you won't believe what Mel's occupation was before he replaced Sideshow Bob). "Day of the Nerd"--Lisa finds out the truth about NASA's exploration of Mars. Meanwhile, the other geeks of Springfield compete in feats of nerdome to win the inheritance of the largest collector of TV/movie&comic book memorabilia. Interesting and unique but jumps around a lot. "Bummer Vacation"--Short about Bart's summer (his batting swing looks totally wrong) and then writing a report on it that Mrs. Krabbapal doesn't believe. "Laughter is the Worst Medicine"--Homer competes in a competitive eating contest, "The Gorge in the Gorge." As Krusty says, "Chewing is for losers! Once you swallow, it's the colon's problem." After eating the final hot dog, something goes horribly wrong. Meanwhile Krusty gets a real doctor's degree instead of an honorary one and sick people start lining up at his door. "Down Home Doctorin' Time with Doctor Julius Hibbert"--Short about Dr. Hibbert as a TV doctor forced to change the style of his show to get better ratings. Ends very abruptly. "The Permanent Record Room!"--Principal Skinner shares some stories (school stories, not war stories). (1) "Pranks But No Pranks"--Bart plays a joke on Groundskeeper Willie which has the janitor believing he's a superhero. (2) "And the Beatings Go On"--The origin of Jimbo Jones. No, he wasn't always a bully. (3) "Truant or False"--Lil' Homie gets hooked up with a young miscreant(who would grow up to become a prominent figure in Springfield). Homer thinks he's learned a valuable lesson from the breif time he spent with this rebelious kid, but perhaps it is the rebel who changes his ways. Sidenote: they wouldn't have had Noiseland Arcade if this comic was accurate. Homer's mother is in this comic and she left the family in 1969. "The Many Faces of Bob"--Sideshow Bob is released from prison but is hit by a Duff Beer truck on his way out and has to undergo plastic surgery. Bart and Lisa try to figure out who Bob could be posing as before he gets his revenge on Bart. "Homer vs. The Raccoon I & II"--I'm not sure why this was divided into two parts; it's just an 8-page short. Anyway, Homer tries to capture a raccoon that has been going through his trash.

There is a story on Sideshow Mel's origin, SIdeshow Bob comes back, the Simpsons find a new home on an island of garbage and much more. If you like the Simpsons, this collection has some really entertaining tales that fit in with the world of the show. Awesome
