ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

This is Claiborne Swanson Frank's fourth book. The fine-art photographer, creative director and writer grew up in California and has worked at Vogue with Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintur. Her first book, American Beauty, stems from her first body of work—a collection of portraits of the women in her life. Swanson Frank has built a reputation photographing for well-known international brands, including Estée Lauder, Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Aerin, Veronica Beard, Brent Neale, Clé de Peau and Brunello Cucinelli, among others. She has also contributed to various editorial publications, such as Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Porter, Veranda, and Architectural Digest. In spring 2021, she released her first fine-art series, photographs of modern botanicals.
