CORNICE ライティングビューロー 084フレームの中に暮らしを入れる。正方形の角材で組まれた枠、そのシンプルな枠組みでつくられた家具が暮らしの空間の中に置かれた時、それぞれに役割が生まれて「暮らしの枠組み」をつくり出す。そこで暮らし、家具を使う人それぞれの味わいを重ねて、暮らしの道具として使っていただきたいシリーズです。
くっきりとした戸の輪郭が印象的ながら、板戸であっても塊のように見えない、軽快さのあるライティングビューロー。扉を開くと簡易デスクとして使うことができ、下段にはたっぷりの収納スペースがあります。奥行きを抑えているため、リビングや寝室にコンパクトに設置できます。
戸の輪郭よりもやや奥まってセットされたパネル、さらにその奥に脚がセットされていることで、面で目に入らずに立体的な印象を受けます。パーツや構造がシンプルに映るからこそ、無垢材の質感が際立ちます。デスク天板にはリノリウムが用いられていて、本体の樹種に合わせたカラーをお選びいただけます。

Look nice, not sturdy or supportive

The color and thickness of the shelf is great. Very easy to install. But the wall mount portion is cheaply made and doesn’t support the shelf as well as it should. Once mounted the shelf leans forward and isn’t sturdy. After mounting, I found my items had slid off end up on the floor.

These 16-inch solid wood floating shelves exceeded my expectations. The quality of the wood is excellent — thick, smooth, and very sturdy. They were easy to install, and all the hardware was included. Once mounted, they feel secure and can hold a good amount of weight without sagging.
