* Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

·       All Kelford 1UZ Camshafts require the transfer of scissor gears from each of the oem camshafts. The gears are press fit on and require a shop press and/ or heat to remove. Notching the scissor gear to fit over the larger camshaft lobes is also required.

·       We offer Scissor Gear transfer service for $225

·       We can also supply you with Scissor Gears so you don’t have to take engine apart and wait. $300 refundable core charge when you send your stock cams with Scissor Gears back to us.

Just installed in a 2006 4Runner. Can’t speak to exact filter partials or longevity, but what I can’t say is that it fits very well and looks to be made very well. It actually fits better than the Bosh filters I normally use. Has a nice foam seal around all 4 edges and fits in the tray perfectly. Seem to be a nice option. So if you have a 03-09 4Runner it’s going to work well. Here’s some pictures of this filter (the blue one) next to a Bosh filter I removed. Also a picture with it in the factory tray.
