Discover blazing-fast networking with the Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card, a high-performance PCI Express 3.0 x16 quad-port network adapter designed for data centers, enterprise servers, and demanding workstations. With four 25GBase-X fiber ports, this plug-in card delivers scalable bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and rock-solid reliability that IT teams demand for virtualization, storage networks, and high-speed computing workloads. Built to integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure, it supports modern rack and blade servers, enabling an efficient upgrade path from older 10G and 40G deployments while enhancing data throughput and application responsiveness. The 16,000 MB/s aggregate bandwidth on this adapter underscores its capability to move large data sets quickly, helping to shorten backup windows, accelerate live migrations, and improve real-time analytics. From hyper-converged environments to AI and HPC workloads, the Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card is engineered to maximize throughput, optimize CPU utilization, and future-proof your network against expanding performance demands.

  • Quad-port 25GbE performance with scalable bandwidth: This card provides four independent 25GBase-X fiber links, delivering an aggregate throughput that supports dense VM environments, large-scale storage fabrics, and parallel data streams. Each 25 Gb/s port enables high-density uplinks, enabling faster VM migrations, rapid data replication, and accelerated replication between storage nodes. The four-port design also facilitates NIC teaming and link aggregation, allowing administrators to pool bandwidth across ports to meet peak transfer requirements while preserving resilience and load balancing for fault tolerance. With advanced offload capabilities, the card minimizes CPU interrupts, freeing processor cycles for compute-intensive tasks and improving overall system efficiency.

  • PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface for maximal throughput: The card slots into a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, delivering ample headroom for multi-port 25GbE operation and future growth. This high-bandwidth bus minimizes bottlenecks between the host CPU and the NIC, helping sustain line-rate performance across demanding workloads such as virtualized data centers, real-time analytics, and large-scale databases. The x16 interface is widely supported, ensuring broad compatibility with current servers, hypervisors, and operating systems. In practical terms, you’ll experience smooth live migrations, consistent data transfers, and reliable performance during peak activity without compromising application latency.

  • Optical fiber connectivity with SFP28 interfaces for long reach: The 25GBase-X standard on this card is implemented via SFP28 fiber ports, enabling high-speed, long-distance connections across racks, rooms, and data centers. Fiber optics provide excellent EMI resistance, lower attenuation, and durability in challenging environments. Selecting the right SFP28 transceivers and fiber type (single-mode or multi-mode as appropriate) unlocks the full potential of 25 GbE, allowing you to tailor your network topology for distance and density. This flexibility makes the card well-suited for campus deployments, inter-rack uplinks, storage-area networks (SANs), and cross-data-center links, all while maintaining predictable throughput and reliable link integrity.

  • Ideal for data centers, virtualization, storage networks, and HPC: Whether you’re deploying a hyper-converged infrastructure, building a scalable storage fabric, or accelerating compute clusters, the Cisco 25Gigabit Ethernet Card delivers the bandwidth and low latency needed for modern workloads. In virtualization scenarios, four dedicated 25GbE links enable high VM density with efficient live migrations and reduced I/O wait times. For storage networks, rapid replication and backups become feasible even with large datasets. In HPC and AI environments, fast data movement between compute nodes and shared storage accelerates simulations and data processing. The quad-port design also adds resilience—if one path becomes congested or inoperative, the remaining links maintain data flow to minimize downtime and service disruption.

  • Enterprise-grade reliability and easy integration: Engineered for 24/7 operation, this card emphasizes signal integrity, thermal management, and rugged connectors to endure rack conditions and environmental variability. It supports standard driver stacks and management workflows, simplifying deployment alongside VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or bare-metal Linux environments. Cisco-backed firmware updates, robust monitoring, and documentation help IT teams maintain peak performance, troubleshoot quickly, and plan capacity with confidence. The quad-port design reduces cabling complexity and inventory overhead while delivering scalable capacity to accommodate growing workloads and new applications over time.

Very high quality wire is great for automotive use
Size: 25FT, Style: 8AWG
This is really good quality wire. The insulation is thick, it is super flexible and very finely stranded. In fact the strands are so fine that you really should be using ferrules to terminate the wire. Without a ferrule, it would be very easy to have a stray strand extend to another terminal, and the strands are so fine that you may not even see it if you have old eyes like me. I used this wire to run from my battery to a fuse, and then to an amplifier inside my vehicle. The wire is so flexible that it may be difficult to push it through the grommets in the firewall of a vehicle. I wound up taping it to a coat hanger, and pushing it through, which was an effective workaround. The insulation is also a bit grippy, so it may be a good idea to apply a lubricant to the grommet, so you don't wind up pulling the whole grommet out of the hole while pulling the wire. If I needed more wire, I would certainly pick up more of this for my next project.

Good as it Gets
Size: 50FT, Style: 8AWG, Size: 50FT, Style: 8AWG
This is excellent wire I've been doing solar set ups for about 2 years now and this is as good as any I have used or seen. The Silicone insulation is super supple - it can easily be bent into quarter (25 cent) size loops. It is a true 8AWG super fine stranded tinned copper cable. It doesn't appear to be listed - but the cable is stamped every couple inches with 200* C and 8AWG. I'll forgo the listing - I know this stuff is good wire - and the only inspection I have to pass is my own. I ordered the 50 foot Red, 50 foot black. It is selling now for about 90 bucks. 90 cents a foot – pretty good deal for this wire. 7 Super Novas for The YDDECW 50ft Red & 50ft Black, 8 AWG Tinned Copper cable kit.
