If you?€?re unfamiliar with the rabbit?€?s foot fern, imagine a houseplant that?€?s equal parts charming, needy, and quietly plotting your emotional unraveling. It?€?s not the showy, glossy kind of plant that screams ?€?Instagram influencer?€? or ?€?d??cor consultant for Anthropologie.?€? No, the rabbit?€?s foot fern is more like your eccentric aunt who wears flowing scarves, drinks too much vermouth, and has very strong opinions about how you load a dishwasher. For starters, it has feet. Fuzzy, creeping rhizomes that crawl out of the pot like it?€?s trying to make a break for it. They?€?re soft?€?almost unsettlingly so?€?and they just keep growing, inching over the rim like a very slow, very polite invasion. These feet are where it gets its name, but don?€?t be fooled: they don?€?t help it walk or even really contribute to the plant's structural integrity. They're just there. Watching. Waiting. Like little sentient eyebrows. The fern itself is made up of delicate, finely divided fronds that look like they belong in a woodland fairy?€?s bathroom. They?€?re light, feathery, and, as I quickly learned, utterly incapable of tolerating anything less than botanical spa conditions. Dry air? It sulks. Too much water? It pouts. Not enough indirect-but-bright light filtered through organic hemp curtains during a waning moon? It begins shedding leaves like a Victorian heroine with consumption. It?€?s also the kind of plant that wants attention without looking like it wants attention. Like someone who insists, ?€?Oh, I?€?m low-maintenance,?€? while requiring distilled water, daily misting, and a playlist of forest sounds to ?€?feel rooted.?€? If you forget it for more than 48 hours, it will start dying slowly, dramatically, just enough to make you feel like a monster, but not so much that it can?€?t be resuscitated with a $30 humidity tray and some public apology. Still, there?€?s something endearing about it. Maybe it?€?s the furriness. Maybe it?€?s the fact that it looks like it came from an enchanted forest?€?or at the very least a retirement home for woodland creatures. Or maybe it?€?s just that, like all of us, the rabbit?€?s foot fern is trying desperately to thrive in a world that keeps turning on the dehumidifier.

oh wow
Format: Kindle
I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
