Standard Compression Dished Face-PVD Chromium Nitride Coated 35mm HNV-3 Stainless Intake 30mm EV8 Stainless Exhaust-1pc. Forged. Skunk2 Ultra Series valves are our premium line valves manufactured from HNV3 martensitic steel (IN) and EV8 austenitic steel (EX) one-piece forgings. These characteristics of the austenitic nickel based alloy enable high resistance to oxidation and corrosion and are designed for engines that output extremely high temperatures. Ultra Series Valves are heat-treated using a proprietary process for extraordinary strength and durability. Chromium Nitride coating is deposited on each valve using physical vapor deposition (PVD) process. This coating significantly improves wear and heat resistance, creating conditions for more durability and long term usage. Chromium Nitride coating is a remarkable solution as it improves the friction coefficient between the valve's stem and valve guide; a necessity for engine components that demand resistance to high heat level environments. Skunk2 designs, develops, and tests its entire valvetrain lineup in-house to ensure superior quality and maximum performance gains. During development, each valvetrain component is tested both on the dyno and the road. Manufactured from the best materials available in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment ensure that Skunk2 valvetrain components provide exceptional performance, reliability, and quality. These components remain standard-issue on each Skunk2 vehicle that we build and support.

SOLID built like a tank! Really like the all-metal design. No vibration on the road and minimal if any off road, extremely stable. 360 adjustability = endless options on positioning your phone. Overall a good buy considering fit, form and functionality as compared to the less expensive composite holders that shake move and rattle (Drives me nuts). The ONLY negative…. I have a pro max iphone with a case and there’s no way one-handed operation works to insert and remove the phone into the holder. You can use one hand to adjust the angle and positioning but not otherwise. An OFI for OffRoam, incorporate a tension adjustment into the design for ease of insertion and removal of the phone (without breaking the bank). Taking all things into consideration the pros far outweigh the cons! Best unit out there for Gen 3 Tacoma owners.

FINALLY a decent phone mount!!!
I’ve tried about 5 different phone mounts in my 2018 Tacoma and ended up throwing them all away. They’re either too bulky, too weak to hold the phone, awkward or just won’t stay in place. I won’t install a holder that requires adhesive or screws into the dash (or anywhere) in my truck. This holder is the answer. Fits perfectly, doesn’t damage your vehicle. Holds the phone really solidly. This is a very sturdy mount. It’s a bit pricy in comparison to other phone mounts out there. IMO, it’s worth every penny. Materials are far superior to your typical mount, which I’m sure drives up the manufacturing costs. Again, worth every penny. Also, it’s a small business based in the US.
