Last spring, Devendra Banhart and Noah Georgeson started to make a record that was like nothing they had made before - an ambient album that would be both a haven from a suddenly terrified world and a heartfelt musical dialogue between two artists who have been friends and collaborators for over two decades.
Noah, whose production and mixing credits include Joanna Newsom and the Strokes, came on board as co-producer of Devendra's 2005 album "Cripple Crow" and they have been working together ever since. As Devendra and Noah got to know each other, they realised that they had a similar history in the New Age subculture of the 1980s: a world of meditation, Eastern music, the Bhagavad Gita and The Whole Earth Catalog. "Refuge" is an album of profound meditative beauty which offers the listener a much-needed sense of peace and renewal.

This is a nice product

This is lightweight, non greasy and a gives a great moisturizing highlighting glow. Stays put and definitely prevents any sunburn after hours in the sun. Also easy to remove with a mild cleanser.

Love that I can use this as my only makeup!

I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens over the years, and this is one of the few mineral sunscreens that I actually enjoy wearing. The CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 feels much lighter on my skin than most mineral formulas I’ve used. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t feel greasy, and keeps my skin feeling hydrated even when I’m outside in the summer heat.
One of my favorite things about it is the tint. It blends in nicely and gives my skin a natural, healthy appearance instead of leaving a white cast. It also provides a surprisingly decent amount of coverage for a sunscreen, helping to even out my skin tone without looking like I’m wearing makeup.
I also like that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or suffocated throughout the day. It wears comfortably whether I’m gardening, at the pool, or just spending time outdoors with my family. The ingredients are gentle, and I haven’t had any issues with irritation.
If you’re looking for a lightweight mineral sunscreen that provides good sun protection, a natural-looking tint, and comfortable everyday wear, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.
