Reverse: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI. Legionary Aquila (Eagle) between two vexillum. Legionary Standards were emblems adopted by units of the Roman army. There were three main types

- Legionary Standards were emblems adopted by units of the Roman army. There were three main types of standard: Aquila, Vexillum, Signum. Aquila was the eagle emblem of a Roman legion. Vexillum was the emblem of a legion, cohort, numerus or detachments was a flag attached to the top of the pole. Signum was a standard for each century (80 men).

Cute, Affordable, Dogs Love

These are super cute. Both of our girls love them. Got them in January and we still have both of them as faves in May. That’s pretty impressive with the amount of toys they rip through. They 100% can easily be destroyed. Our dogs have preferred keeping them. They just enjoy these toys.

The indestructible sharkie
High and low have I searched when quite by accident I just happened upon the indestructible sharkie. We are fast approaching the 24 hour mark and sharkie is still with us. He has thus far resisted the incredibly strong, outrageously aggressive and persistent chewing of my Bernese mountain dog. Most don’t make it 20 min, so a whole day?!? Miracle!!! Not in love with the incessant squeaking that has followed me, but then again… that’s because this is actually not simply a review but a love story between a dog and his shark toy. Where others have failed, this one has endured. My water fearing dog has an obsession with shark shaped toys so while it would be nice to see a different character, truth is… I’ll be buying more sharkies. A lot of sharkies. Yard sharkie. Work sharkie. Maybe not house sharkie… but you get the point.
