The Story: A cool throwback to 1967—when California's Oakland Seals were one of six new teams to join the NHL as the league doubled in size (and expanded West) with its first major expansion. They would get their name change in 1970 to the California Golden Seals in 1970 and though they were one the least successful expansion teams, their iconic yellow and green jerseys are a cult classic.

The Design: Our new favourite hat features a truly vintage look with a wool fabric and embroidered logo. It has a slightly higher crown than a dad hat, and features an adjustable wool strap.

  • 6-panel retro cap with soft light buckram crown and slight pre-curved visor
  • Light heather crown with kelly green brim
  • 40% wool / 60% poly flannel
  • Front logo is lofted cotton thread embroidery
  • Features custom sew-in label identifying team logo inception inside of cap.
  • One size fits all adjustable self-fabric back strap with matte finish metal buckle.
