Transform your network oversight with a scalable, PC-based upgrade license for Progress WhatsUp Gold. This Remote Site upgrade extends your existing WhatsUp Gold deployment to cover up to 1500 devices across distributed locations, delivering centralized visibility, faster issue detection, and streamlined management. Built for IT teams that rely on precise, real-time insights, this upgrade offers quick deployment on a PC, empowering you to monitor remote sites with confidence and control. Whether you’re an MSP managing multiple client networks or an enterprise with several branch offices, this upgrade license provides a practical, future-proof path to broaden your monitoring footprint without starting from scratch. Install ease on a familiar PC environment and gain a unified view of performance, availability, and health across your entire network.

  • What the upgrade license delivers — This upgrade license expands an existing WhatsUp Gold installation to support up to 1500 devices across remote sites, enabling centralized visibility and consistent monitoring across the entire network. With device coverage extended to distant locations, your team can correlate events from multiple sites, accelerate root-cause analysis, and ensure that service levels stay within defined thresholds. The PC-based deployment leverages your current hardware to minimize disruption, while preserving your established monitoring workflows, alerting rules, and data history. In short, it scales your monitoring footprint with minimal downtime and maximum continuity.

  • Key features for network oversight — WhatsUp Gold is renowned for comprehensive network monitoring, and this upgrade extends those capabilities to a broader device estate. Expect automatic network discovery, SNMP-based monitoring, and continuous health checks that surface performance anomalies. Create dynamic dashboards, customize views for operations teams, and configure threshold-based alerts to ensure rapid notification of issues. The Remote Site capability enables consistent visibility across multiple locations—from core data centers to regional offices—so your operations team can monitor uptime, bandwidth, latency, device availability, and service performance from a single, intuitive interface.

  • Business benefits and ROI — Upgrading to a 1500-device license on a PC translates into measurable business value. Reduced mean time to repair (MTTR) through faster detection and correlation of events, improved SLA compliance with proactive monitoring, and fewer manual interventions across dispersed sites. A single, standardized monitoring platform eliminates the fragmentation of multiple tools, delivering cleaner data, streamlined workflows, and more accurate capacity planning. The result is lower operational costs, higher network uptime, and a more responsive IT organization that can align with business priorities and growth ahead.

  • Ideal users and deployment scenarios — This license is a strong fit for network administrators, IT operations teams, managed service providers (MSPs), and multi-site organizations that demand cohesive oversight. If your network spans multiple campuses, branch offices, or regional data centers, the 1500-device upgrade ensures you capture the full spectrum of performance and reliability. It’s also suited for growing networks that expect to add devices over time, offering a scalable, on-premises path to expand monitoring without rearchitecting your monitoring stack. By deploying on a PC you already control, you gain flexibility and familiarity that simplifies ongoing operations.

  • Why choose this upgrade for WhatsUp Gold — The upgrade is designed for speed, simplicity, and reliable remote site oversight. It preserves your existing WhatsUp Gold configuration while expanding device coverage, enabling you to maintain consistent alerting, dashboards, and data retention policies. With a broader device view, you’ll enjoy deeper visibility into remote site health, faster incident response, and greater confidence in decisions driven by centralized data. The PC-based approach minimizes the friction of deployment and lets your team realize the benefits of comprehensive, scalable monitoring with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

What they Didn't Teach You in Sunday School
Format: Paperback
Often when reading through the Bible, whether one does so for religious reasons or not, we miss details in the background. Or we do not take into consideration cultural context while interpreting passages. Sometimes, due to difficulties in translating ancient languages into modern ones, some things are literally lost in translation. In this volume, where Godawa collects material he has previously published into one volume, he examines many of these issues. In particular, he focuses on topics that have long mystified people and been the subject of much conjecture and fictionalization: Nephilim, Watchers and giants. He also takes a close look at verses that may have had supernatural elements inadvertently scrubbed: The strange ariel creatures in 2 Samuel 23:20 translated instead into men, or the demons and goblins of Isaiah 13:21-22 written off as wild animals, etc. Clues to a different ancient world than usually supposed? The only misstep is his adherence to the John Walton ANE interpretation. This is based on superficial interpretation, and worse history (e.g. the whole ANE "dome" interpretation of creation is largely mythical). Walton's books haves done a huge disservice in undermining biblical inerrancy. See Hugh Ross' Rescuing Inerrancy for more on Walton and others who aren't too good at biblical study. There's a lot of food for thought in these pages. For more, see and .

Great supplement to Bible study
Format: Paperback
Stimulating reading for science-minded and biblically minded readers. The author who wrote this book has a lot to say about some of the strange images we read about in the Bible. Giants, flying reptiles, satyrs, fauns, denizens, angels, demons, etc. Once I read this, I began realizing that much of the strange things we see in the world outside the Bible are about as realistic as some of these images mentioned in the Bible. The battle between our minds and our souls carries on.

Informational but not what I expected.
Format: Paperback
The facts as they relate to the bible and some other scripts are good, but it would have been better if they were backed up with scientific facts and Egyptian findings. This would have given a broader and more open-minded big picture. I was disappointed overall.

My brain needed this book.
Format: Paperback
What a refreshing cup of water to a thirsty mind! I'm so glad I stumbled across this book and this author, Brian Godawa. I was beginning to think I was the only person on earth who had questions about traditional Christianity versus ancient cultures as well as other mysteries on our earth, and this book has made some links and clarifications on some fascinating subjects that aren't dealt with much in the modern church. It didn't matter that this book is a compilation of appendices based on his research for one of his fiction series. It read, easily, as a non-fiction book and I appreciated how the author used facts based off of biblical and other ancient documents in a rather logical way, with limited conjecture and emotion. I tried absorbing the information in this book as quickly as possible, and already have admired and desired the author's other utterly fascinating book offers. Thank you, Mr. Godawa, for your seeming unrelentless pursuit of truth! I stand with you.
