The camera features remote pan, tilt, and zoom control via a remote control or via IP, HDBaseT, and serial protocols, and its built-in zoom lens offers an optical zoom range of 12x with a 16x digital zoom to view just about any angle in your setting. The camera also features an AI autotracking algorithm that allows you to follow the subject automatically.
HDBaseT Support
The PTC-285T supports HDBaseT connections, allowing you to extend the distance of your camera from a switcher or controller.
Simultaneous Outputs
Connect your PTC-285 to multiple devices in your workflow for flexibility. All the outputs are active at the same time, supporting simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and IP output up to UHD 4K 2160p60 and also 3G-SDI output up to 1080p60.
Quick-Access AI & Object Tracking
Setting up AI tracking is available via various external controllers such as the included RMC-1 remote control and DVIP controllers (RMC-300A, RMC-180 MARK II, and PTC View Assist). In addition to camera controllers, you can also easily enable AI tracking on smart switchers which include KMU-200, SHOWCAST 100, and others, as well as complete solution systems like ZR-1 Smart Classroom.
If you are capturing multiple people, you can designate a single person for AI tracking. Once set up on the camera, only the designated person will be tracked, avoiding interferences such as the desks, people crossing back and forth, and large objects.
Smart PTZ Speed Adaptation
The integrated PID algorithm is able to detect the movement speed of the identified object and automatically adjust the camera's corresponding pan, tilt, and zoom speeds in such a way that the lens movement will be smooth, avoiding common camera lens movement problems like jerky movements or unpredicted halts.
Low Noise in Low Light
Advanced 3D noise reduction technology is also used to further reduce the noise while ensuring image sharpness.
Streaming and Network Support
The camera supports RTSP and RTMPS protocols, making it easy to stream directly to two different CDN platforms and Datavideo dvCloud.
Power over Ethernet
The PTC-285 supports PoE for easy installation without the need to find local power outlets or hire an electrician to install outlets wherever you want to mount your camera. Simply run a single Cat 6 cable to power your PTC-285.
Tally Lights
Green and red lights tally to show the preview and program status for broadcast applications.
Wide 80° Field of View
The PTC-285 provides a wide field of view of 80°, easily capturing your entire scene.
IP and Serial Control
Control the camera from a variety of controllers that support multiple network protocols, including Pelco-D, Pelco-P, VISCA, VISCA over IP, and DVIP.
Optical Zoom
The camera features 12x optical zoom and has a 16x digital zoom.
Audio Input
Input audio to insert into your output via the mic/line-level 3.5mm stereo audio input.
Power and Mounting Options
The camera is powered by the included power adapter or via PoE, and it includes a ceiling mount bracket kit. You can utilize the separately available WM-1, WM-10, or WM-11 wall mount kits if you prefer to mount the camera on a wall.
Multiple Remote Control Options
The RMC-1 PTZ remote control can set and control up to four cameras and save presets.
The PTZ View Assist camera control app is tailored for the Datavideo PTZ camera series. It can monitor the live streaming video from PTC-140, PTC-280, PTC-285, and PTC-300 series. The app can control up to four cameras simultaneously via DVIP, you can intuitively set up and recall the presets, and adjust white balance, focus, and iris.

These Bamboo Pillowcases Made Me Realize I Sleep Hot

I bought these mostly because I kept hearing people talk about bamboo pillowcases and honestly thought it sounded a little overhyped, but I totally get it now. The first thing I noticed was how cool they felt compared to regular cotton. I tend to get warm when I sleep and flip my pillow a million times during the night looking for the cold side, and these actually stay noticeably cooler longer.
They also feel really soft without having that weird slippery texture some silky pillowcases have. My skin has been less irritated lately and my hair definitely looks less frizzy in the mornings. I have thick hair that tangles easily overnight, and these have helped more than I expected.
Another thing I appreciate is that they’ve washed well so far. I was worried they’d pill or lose softness after a wash cycle, but they still feel smooth and nice. They also just make the bed feel cleaner and more comfortable overall. One of those small upgrades that ends up making a bigger difference than you’d think.

Good buy Pillowcases
Color: 08 - Sage Green, Size: King (20" X 36")
I bought these Bedsure king-size pillowcases from Amazon and overall I’m very happy with them. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly soft and smooth the fabric feels. They almost feel silky, which makes them very comfortable to sleep on. When you lay your head down, the material feels cool and gentle on the skin, which I really like.
I also appreciate the zipper closure. It keeps the pillow securely inside the case and makes everything look neat and tidy on the bed. The zipper is hidden well and doesn’t feel bulky or uncomfortable.
The only small downside is that the pillowcases are so smooth that the pillows can sometimes slide around or even slip off the bed a little. However, that’s really just because the material is so silky.
Overall, I would still recommend these pillowcases. They are soft, comfortable, and feel like a nice upgrade compared to regular pillowcases.
