Background
Frizzled-7 is a member of the Frizzled family of unconventional G-protein-coupled glycoprotein receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway. The Wnt genes encode a large family of glycoproteins that are essential in development and tissue maintenance. In the adult, Frizzled-7 is expressed in skeletal muscle, especially in satellite cells that mediate muscle regeneration in response to Wnt-7a. It is expressed in embryonic stem cells (ES), contributing to self-renewal signaling. It has been implicated in mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition in colorectal cancer. Frizzled-7 mRNA has also been detected in adult heart and placenta.

GREAT REMOTE HOLDER BUT BEWARE OF POSSIBLE STRONG PERFUMY SCENT!

This is a very nicely made and attractive remote holder, perfect for my storage and organizational needs. It is a good value for the money. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the small pack that was in the holder to prevent moisture had a very strong perfumy smell that gave me a headache even after I removed it and left it in a place away from me to air out for over a week. I can still smell it, although it seems to be gradually fading. I would have returned it and ordered another but figured I would get the same situation so it would not be worth the trouble.
