An original World War One era medal trio, comprising 1914/15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal, with original ribbons. Remains of sticky tape on the reverse of all. Medals are correctly named to;

Star - 1716 PTE D. MILLER. 25/BN. A. I. F.

BWM and Vic - 1716 PTE D. MILLER. 25-BN. A. I. F.

David Miller was born in Belfast, Ireland but appears to have enlisted in Brisbane, Queensland, so presumably emigrated. He enlisted 5 June 1915 and served with the 25th Battalion Australian Imperial Force.

He came on Battalion strength on 12 October 1915 at Gallipoli.  He then went to Alexandria, Cairo, Tel-el-Kebir, Abbassia and during this time became ill with pneumonia and then dysentry, then veneral disease (on several occasions...), eventually arriving back in Plymouth on 23 May 1916.

He forfitted 13 days pay soon after, for going AWOL for 13 days. The following month he was once again admitted to hospital with VD.

He arrived in France on 11 September 1916.  In December of 1916 he was sentenced with Field Punishment No. 2 (he was put in handcuffs, but not affixed to an object like in FP No. 1), for again going AWOL, this time for 7 days.

He is reported on his service record as having been killed in action on the 22 April 1917, in France.  CWGC confirms this and that he died aged 27 and is buried in Noreuil Australian Cemetery.

The service record shows some rather sad and persistent correspondence after his death from his brother in law, desparately trying to get hold of £10 from David's effects which he owed his sister for his stay in Sydney prior to sailing.

Medals are framed and I will try and pack the frame as best I can, but assume you are buying just the medals.  No returns if the glass is smashed in transit therefore.

Easy to handle
Style: Lawn Edger w/(1) 4.0 Ah Battery
This is fantastic. It was a breeze to put together, the battery lasts a good 45 minutes or more, it is easy to handle, and does a terrific job of edging the concrete driveway. the roadside curb, and the borders of my flower beds. It is not too heavy and has loads of power. I am a 5'1" woman 81 years old and this tool is very easy for me to use and carry. The size is not too long even for me to maneuver. It is easy to lean if you get clumps of dirt in the housing for the blade and it is adjustable to suit the depth needed at the time. It seems very well made. The price was reasonable and I think we may be friends for quite a whole.

Right tool for the money
Style: Lawn Edger w/(1) 4.0 Ah Battery
Very impressed with this WORX Cordless Lawn Edger. My driveway have never been edged in over 30 years, this edger handled the job with ease, made a pass at one inch and then two inches. My driveway is 80 feet long, after the two passes I was left with one bar of battery power, great tool for the price. I would definitely recommend this product to any home owner that maintains their own yard.

Great battery powered edger
Style: Lawn Edger w/(1) 4.0 Ah Battery
This edger works great love the guide for along sidewalks and curbside lawns. It is a little underpowered for really thick lawns battery goes down fairly fast on the thicker areas but all in all it’s great

The blade is not sharpen.
Style: Lawn Edger w/(1) 4.0 Ah Battery
I had no problems assembling the equipment. The problem is with the blade. It doesn't have any sharpen. I bough spares blades which have a different configuration and better edge. However I haven't been able to unscrew the bolt in order to install the new blade. It is extremely tied. One would think that you purchase this equipment, at a high price, and would be able to use it right away. In your dream. This is a Third World Country selling things at an incredible high prices, for the profit of the American companies using the manpower of other Third World Countries or China. Since the blade is not sharp, when you try to use the equipment it got disconnected. Therefore it does not work with the blade that comes from the manufacturer. Total disaster.

Worx very well!
Style: Lawn Edger w/(1) 4.0 Ah Battery
Worx very well. ;) More power than I expected from a 20v cordless machine. And with the 4Ahr battery it comes with, I was able to do the drive, walks, and patio without having to change batteries. I own 2 Worx string trimmers, chainsaw, hedge trimmer, drill impact driver, and leaf blower. Love them all.
