Global Colours Neon Blue Paint FX (Non Cosmetic)

Global Colours of  Australia, are highly pigmented water based cake paint. Global Colours are opaque in coverage, but blend seamlessly without cracking or fading. The Global range of paints include Neon colors that are blacklight and UV light reactive and Pearl colors that have an added shimmer pigment. Pearl and Neon colors may tend to apply slightly more sheer than standard colors.

To use: Rub a damp sponge or brush over the surface of the cake until you work up a desired consistency then apply. Global colors can be applied with a brush or sponge and dry within 30 seconds. Global paints remove easily with soap and water. For a longer lasting finish you can apply a fixative spray. All Global Colours products, EXCEPT Neon’s, are compliant with FDA & European Union Cosmetic Directives. Neon colors, like in many other brands, are made with pigments that have not been approved by the FDA to be used in cosmetics (the FDA has not tested them yet for cosmetic use). These products are approved for "Special FX ". Following FDA guidelines these colors are labeled as a Special FX product to be used on prosthetics, clothing, etc.

Disclaimer for Neon pigments: Paints containing neon pigments are meant to be used for special effects and are not considered a cosmetic product. Neon colors utilize pigments that lack approval from the USA Cosmetic Regulator for cosmetic application (as they haven't undergone cosmetic testing by the agency). The manufacturer asserts that these pigments have been independently assessed for cosmetic safety by external laboratories and government bodies in various countries. Adhering to the regulator's guidelines, these pigments are classified as a Special FX Product - Prosthetic Paint, intended for exclusive professional usage, and not categorized as a cosmetic item.

The recommended use involves applying the product solely to prosthetic appliances, bald caps, clothing, etc. This specification pertains solely to the UV/Neon pigments within this product and does not extend to the remaining pigments.
