The reliability and workhorse nature of the Battenkill were never touched — those aspects are not for negotiation. Instead, the team tightened tolerances for even smoother operation and updated key design details: improved hand feel on the drag knob, a curved reelfoot that won't kink leaders, and new understated colors that complement the aesthetic of Superfine, Classic Bamboo, Helios, and Recon rods.
Built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with an ergonomic Delrin handle, the Battenkill Click features a standard arbor with a ported design that pays homage to Battenkill reels of old. An audible, positive outgoing click delivers that classic sound and feel that click-and-pawl purists love. Converting from left to right hand retrieve is simple.
