Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Melissa now resides in Wanaka where she works from her home studio producing new works in oil, graphite, and watercolour.
Over her career she has become known for her stunning portraiture works - however variety is where her passion lies! This finds her taking her established skills into new areas such as capturing the majestic Southern Otago landscape, working on commissions for international clients, and writing and illustrating a range of children’s books, richly inspired by her trips to her favourite New Zealand spots.
