Material

Your Smart Coop, made from double-walled MDPE (Medium-Density Polyethylene) plastic, offers excellent insulation—keeping the coop 15–20 degrees warmer in winter (and cooler in summer). The material the coop's panels are manufactured from are tested to withstand extreme heat up to 180° F and extreme cold down to -40° F before undergoing any structural damage or deformity.

The Coop structure is made of double-walled, recyclable plastic and manufactured through a process called rotational molding. The result is an incredibly strong chicken coop made to stand the test of time...and your flock.

The Coop is mite resistant! Unlike traditional coops made with wood that break down over time, the Coop's construction and materials create a very inhospitable environment for pests like red mites.

This plastic has a unique balance of strength, flexibility, and durability.
