Sobre el autor

El artista plástico Patricio Hidalgo (Ibiza, 1979) ofrece en este libro una amplia y significativa muestra de su deslumbrante obra como pintaor. Creador polifacético y multidisciplinar, extraordinario actualizador y renovador de la estética flamenca, nos comparte una compilación de su arte jondo, a la par vanguardista y popular, en el que refleja y revela la enigmática verdad del cante, del toque, del baile, y lo hace a través de inolvidables retratos de artistas vivos y muertos, tanto legendarios como anónimos, y escenas que detienen el tiempo y encarnan su enigma en el gesto y la gracia, en el grito y el silencio. Belleza, emoción, expresión límite, lucidez. Figuras flamencas contiene además un exhaustivo prólogo de Miguel Ángel Rivero Gómez, letras flamencas escritas conjuntamente por David Eloy Rodríguez y José María Gómez Valero y, un poema de Karen Elizabeth Bishop, enlaces a videocreaciones flamencas realizadas por el propio artista, una representación de sus colaboraciones con Murdo Ortiz, así como una completa entrevista.
