First of all, without this type of adapter, you would traditionally have to splice into your fuel line and install a "T" in order to gain access to the fuel pressure. Secondly, by separating the sending unit away from the direct stream of fuel, it will help to alleviate needle bounce that is most prevalent with electric fuel pressure gauges / sending units that is caused by the pump pulsations and the way the sending unit gains its readings, which are also pulsations on electric sending units.
The provided adapter fitting installs in place of the plug in the fuel filter bowl and the hose allows the sending unit to be located off the engine (away from heat and vibration). The sending unit can also be located lower than the filter bowl (allowing any air bubbles to migrate back up to the filter so they don't affect the pressure reading). Typically, your best option is to route the hose and sending unit behind the air box and battery tray near the drivers side of the engine compartment.

Whips as good as my Nespresso Aerocino!
Love this frother. Whips milk as good as my Nespresso Aerocino! I have tried several that just made light foam, but this one is wonderful. And, rechargeable also. Charge lasts a very long time. Great for travel!

Solid Upgrade, Needs Color Variety
Replaced my old frother with this one and it's a solid step up. Seriously, better build quality, more features, and noticeably more control.
The variable speed dial is genuinely useful. Being able to dial from low (protein powder, matcha) to high (thick cappuccino foam) feels like an actual upgrade. The three whisk attachments give you flexibility depending on what you're making, and the included stand is a nice touch. Helps keeps the coffee bar counter from getting cluttered. Battery life seems strong so far; one charge has lasted through multiple weeks of daily use without issue.
Pros:
- Variable speed dial works well across a real range (not just "low" and "high")
- Three whisk heads included — good for different drink types
- Stand included; compact and stays put on the counter
Cons:
- Singular color option. The mint green clashes with everything on my coffee bar setup; wish there were neutral alternatives. ANY alternatives!
- Everyone may not like the price tag but it wasn't out of my budget and the included extra bits made it worth it for me.
If your kitchen palette doesn't fight the mint green, this is a capable, well-built frother at a decent price.
