They are designed to mimic the style of popular original equipment side bars and running boards, featuring two professional finish options, large non-skid step pads and tapered end caps. This particular pair of 6" ovals is made with 304 stainless steel, meaning they are high in nickel content to be truly resistant to rust and corrosion. For a lasting shine and a bright accent on your vehicle, they are given a highly polished, mirror-like finish. They are also available in semi-gloss black powder-coated aluminum. To protect the interior of the tubes, all 6" oval sides are equipped with hard ABS plastic end caps. The end caps come pre-attached to the tubes and feature a tapered design, lending to the overall OE look of the side bars and providing a professional finishing touch on your truck or SUV. For a sure step every time you climb into your vehicle, ARIES 6" ovals are equipped with extra-wide step pads. The step pads are made from tough polypropylene and provide a generous 5" width. The large, flat surface offers comfortable footing and has a textured surface to prevent slipping, even when wet. The polypropylene construction makes the step pads durable and crack-resistant for long-lasting use. ARIES 6" oval side bars are also made for easy, no-drill installation. The boards themselves feature a track system for versatile application, and they mount using vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit on certain years of the Ford F-150, F-150 Lightning, F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty and F-550 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). The mounting brackets are made from high-strength carbon steel and use pre-existing holes to eliminate drilling during the installation process.

Nice toy

This product is generally durable and easy to throw. However, the original rope knot came undone after just four throws, per my wife. Unfortunately, my knot-tying skills are limited to fishing knots and slip knots, which is on me. While I can't give a perfect score, I believe it deserves a 4.5 out of 5 stars due to the knot issue. A simple solution would be to apply heat shrink tubing over the knot and heat it to secure it, which would enhance its reliability and potentially elevate the rating to a perfect five stars.

Our German Shepherd loves it!

I think this family company improved the strength of the rope staying in the ball

I bought two of these balls when I needed to replace my old ones. After I got them I decided to read some reviews and I noticed people were complaining about their rope pulling through easily and their dog chewing through the rope fast. First of all this strictly is a ball for reward and yes tug as a reward while training mostly working dogs and sport dogs so the rope is designed perfectly for that reason. It’s not a chew toy. And as for the rope pulling through easily. I have a big male shepherd over 100 lbs who I was participating in a dog sport with a lot of Really strong tugging and this ball stood up to it perfectly. I think they must have taken advice from the reviews and improved the b-ball if people were having the issue of the rope coming out and someone had suggested putting a piece of something inside the ball to hold the rope in better and now there is one so I would feel fine about suggesting this ball as a reward and training ball. My dog loves them!

Not a bad option

I have a 60lb shepherd that i got this for that likes to have an "emotional support" ball everywhere she goes. After losing her old one, I went on Amazon to buy her a new rope ball. My dog likes to chew on her toys and play tug, so I knew I needed something that could handle both. After buying this, I noticed that the orange rubber would break off and the rope would come undone when she picked at it. After a few months the rubber near the rope stated tearing and the rope popped out. It's not a bad toy for dogs, but it's not very well made either. I'll opt for something sturdier next time
