Bevochtiging tijdens uw therapie

Wanneer u een CPAP of BiPAP gebruikt kunt u last krijgen van een droge neus en/of keel. Dit omdat er tijdens de therapie constant lucht in uw luchtwegen wordt geblazen. Voor extra comfort biedt een bevochtiger uitkomst. Bij apparaten uit de RESmart GII serie van BMC wordt niet standaard een bevochtiger meegeleverd.

 

5 niveaus

Via het apparaat zelf kunt het water verwarmen. Hierbij heeft u de keuze uit 5 vochtigheidsniveaus. Welk niveau voor u het meest geschikt is, hangt af van de temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid in uw slaapkamer. Heeft u last van condens in de CPAP slang? Probeer uw bevochtiger dan op een lager vochtigheidsniveau in te stellen. Ook het gebruik van een verwarmde slang helpt tegen condensvorming. In combinatie met de RESmart GII H60 bevochtiger raden wij het Plastiflex Hybernite Superday Rainout Control System aan.

 

Bevochtiger en waterreservoir reinigen

Om hygiënische redenen is het erg belangrijk om de bevochtiger en het waterreservoir op de juiste manier te reinigen. Schoonmaakinstructies voor de verschillende onderdelen vindt u in de meegeleverde gebruiksaanwijzing. Hier vindt u ook meer informatie over het gebruik van de bevochtiger.
