Bel corpo e lunga persistenza gusto-olfattiva. Armonico e fine.Il Puro 2009 è uno spumante che deriva da vendemmia tardiva e raccolta a mano, fermentazione con i lieviti naturali e macerazione sulle bucce per 24 ore. Il mosto è stato messo nelle barriques, senza aggiunta di prodotti chimici o conservanti, dove ha maturato per 4 anni. La grande particolarità di questo spumante è che, a differenza dei Metodo Classico, non prevede alcuna aggiunta di liqueur de tirage (lievito più zucchero) per la rifermentazione in bottiglia: essa è avvenuta semplicemente con l'aggiunta di mosto fresco con i propri lieviti. Anidride solforosa praticamente inesistente, pari a 9 mg/l. Uno spumante emozionante, pulito e in perfetta sintonia con la natura. Lo spumante Puro viene rilasciato sul mercato senza sboccatura, ossia con i lieviti in bottiglia. Al momento dell'apertura, pertanto, bisogna procedere manualmente alla "sboccatura" ("dégorgement") per eliminare le fecce, immergendo il collo della bottiglia in un secchiello con acqua gelata e procedendo alla stappatura.
Si abbina meravigliosamente con tanti tipi di piatti: ideale a tutto pasto, su piatti di pesce, crostacei, salumi o formaggi.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.

Good for my collection.

Great story and illustrations!
I purchased this book as a Christmas present for my toddler nephew and it became his favorite new book of the year!
I had read the story randomly in a store some years ago as the title, awards, and cover illustration caught my eye. Growing up as a 90s kid, I cannot recall being exposed to a variety of diverse books especially ones that take place in the city and Last Stop on Market Street stuck with me. It depicts the city life well, how for some the only transportation is the bus, and the value of community by giving your time to help and connect with others.
The illustrations are beautifully done and the story captures both CJ's imaginations and observations wells. My brother especially loved how wise CJ's grandmother is as she guides him during their journey and teaches him at a young age how to help those in need.

A beautifully written and illustrated story about a young boy and his Nana and their loving spirit they share with others
Format: Hardcover
This is a simple, but beautiful story with heart. It is told by a little boy who apparently lives with his Nana. The illustrations are scenes painted in brilliant colors. C.J., the boy has many questions to ask his Nana, like why they have to ride the bus or always to do the same thing every Sunday? Nana patiently and gently answers every question and helps C.J. to open his eyes and his mind to the beauty around him. This book teachers children compassion and to look for good and beauty in people and their surroundings. It models empathy for those who have less than one has. Nana has a lovely spirit and great wisdom. She makes one feel that she is a lady one would like to know. Nana teaches the joy of giving back to others. This is a book I will read again and again.
