- Het bestek van Laguiole Jean Dubost wordt gemaakt van hoogwaardige materialen. Er worden veel natuurlijke materialen gebruikt zoals olijfhout, parelmoer en ossenhoorn. Voor het mes zelf wordt er Sandvik staal gebruikt. Dit staal zorgt ervoor dat het mes makkelijk te slijpen is en lang scherp blijft. Ideaal om ervoor te zorgen dat je je vlees makkelijk snijdt.
- Een echt vleesmes heeft nooit kartels. Deze messen zijn dan ook specifiek bedoeld voor het snijden van vlees. Een echte Laguiole-messenmaker weet dat vlees snijden veel lastiger is met een gekarteld mes. Vandaar dat de authentieke Laguiole messen dan ook nooit kartels hebben.
- Het Laguiole bestek staat erg bekend om zijn insectvormige icoon. Over wat het icoontje inhoud bestaan 2 theorieën: Het ontwerp zou een bij moeten voorstellen dat Napoleon Bonaparte uitreikte aan zijn moedige soldaten. De kans dat dit de goede theorie is is erg klein, omdat de “bij” op het Laguiole mes pas werd geïntroduceerd toen Napoleon al meer dan 100 jaar dood was. Wat ook zou kunnen is dat het symbool een vlieg is. De smeden zelf gebruiken deze term. Hier zit echter geen betekenis achter. De vlieg zou alleen dienen om de duim te laten rusten op het gedeelte boven de springveer.

Works better than more expensive ones

This shaver surprisingly works really well. I don't really have hair long enough to use an electric shaver, but the other end, the foil type shaver works really well, even on very short hair. It left my skin actually smooth, which is better than most of these types of shavers, which leave it close to smooth but actually kind of just really short, so you can feel it even if you can't see it. This felt much smoother than other shavers I've tried. I like that there's less skin damage than a razor. It's smaller than is shown in the photos, which is actually good because it's better for travel. In the photos, it looks comically large, but it just looks like a normal pink shaver in person. It's actually a good size for every day use. It would probably be okay for travel, but it's definitely not mini. It would probably be good for keeping an undercut fresher. The price, at $30, is lower than many other brands that I've seen/tried. I've tried several with $50 price tags that are only the foil end and didn't work as well as this one, and we're half the shaver this one is. At least on first impression, this is a good quality and decent value. Hopefully, it stands the test of time.
Update: I was not planning on using it for this, but my very fat and old cat gets the occasional knot in the spring when he's shedding, and OMG, this is the best shaver I've used on a cat. It glides like butter to skin short. It takes a literal second. This thing is amazing.

Lightweight and Easy to Use - A Solid Option for Occasional Trimming

I received this trimmer through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review. I was drawn to it partly because of the dual-head design - having both a trimmer and a shaver head in one device seemed useful. I also noticed that it was marketed for sensitive skin, which I thought was important given the sensitive area this is intended for.
My first impression was that it's pretty lightweight and feels comfortable to hold. The pink plastic color looks decent enough, and while lightweight, the build quality seems solid enough for the price point. One of the first things I noticed when I turned it on was the LED light near the head - I wasn't sure how useful that would actually be going in, but it turns out it is actually helpful for visibility in hard-to-see areas. Overall, I've been pleased with how it performs so far. It's lightweight, easy to handle, gentle on the skin, and the added features like the LED light and digital battery display feel like genuine usability improvements rather than just marketing extras. If you're looking for a straightforward, no-fuss trimmer for sensitive skin and occasional or regular use, this is a decent choice at this price. It covers a lot of different areas - bikini line, underarms, legs, face - so it's versatile enough to replace other tools you may have.

I bought it out of curiosity, and now it’s part of my weekly routine
After seeing so many electric shavers for women online, I decided to try this one because I liked that it came with multiple attachments and claimed to be gentle on sensitive skin. Honestly, I expected it to be just another grooming gadget, but it ended up surprising me in the best way.
The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and comfortable it feels to hold. Right out of the box, it looked elegant and well-designed, which I personally appreciate because I love products that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Plus, the different attachments are actually useful and not just included for decoration.

Easy to hold on to and shaves great
This shaver is of good quality. I like that the feel is kind of rubbery so it's easy to hold on to, it is small and easy to use. It charges up quickly also.
