Deze bijzondere witte wijn uit de Art de Vivre-serie van Gérard Bertrand zet een inheemse druif in de schijnwerpers: Clairette. De wijn komt uit Adissan, een historisch dorp in de Languedoc dat al sinds de oudheid bekend staat om deze druivensoort. In lijn met de serie wordt ook deze wijn gepresenteerd in een keramieken fles, geïnspireerd op Romeinse amforen, als eerbetoon aan de rijke geschiedenis van de regio.

Wijngaarden en regio – Clairette uit het hart van Adissan

De wijngaarden liggen rondom Adissan, een van de weinige plaatsen in de Languedoc waar Clairette traditioneel wordt verbouwd. De bodem bestaat hier voornamelijk uit kalksteen en klei, wat zorgt voor structuur en frisheid. Dankzij het mediterrane klimaat rijpen de druiven goed, terwijl de nabijheid van heuvels en windstromen voor verkoeling zorgt. Dit draagt bij aan de aromatische complexiteit van de wijn.

Vinificatie en rijping – pure expressie van terroir

Na de oogst ondergaan de druiven een zachte persing. De fermentatie vindt plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks bij gecontroleerde temperatuur om de frisheid en typiciteit van Clairette te behouden. Een korte rijping op de fijne lies voegt ronding en diepte toe zonder invloed van hout, waardoor het terroir puur tot uiting komt.

De geur is expressief met tonen van peer, citrus, perzik en witte bloemen. In de mond is de wijn soepel en verfijnd, met frisse zuren en een subtiele minerale ondertoon in de afdronk.

Serveersuggesties

Lekker bij gegrilde vis, schaal- en schelpdieren of een salade met geitenkaas. Serveer op 10 tot 12 graden voor een optimale beleving van de aroma’s en textuur.

Inside winter fun ball launcher

Bought this for our three dogs to play with in the winter as Houston is typically cold and rainy and limits outside play, this will be our new winter indoor activity. We are still in the learning process of putting the ball back in the launcher, we have only played with it a handful of times at most and they retrieve the balls back to the launcher but haven’t consistently put it back IN the launcher when there is a human at the launcher to do it for them. As we play with it more I know they will catch the concept along with the balls. Love that the product has three launching distances, indoor I’m using the short distance. Having 6 balls is also great, right now they are launching and rolling under the Christmas tree and my newly tri-pod dog cannot go under to get them. The ball launcher is super easy to use, I didn’t even have to look at the instructions. The design is nice and it is built very well. This launcher was a bit pricier than others but it had the best reviews. I used Amazon coupons, rewards and a gift cards and got it for zero dollars. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and the dogs have allot of fun with it and get excited when I bring it out. I have not had any problems with this product, the only slight thing to mention is that once about every 10 or more balls the launcher throws the next ball up will just sit, a little nudge from me or a dog will get that ball launching again. I have nudgers so this isn’t going to be a thing. We love this product and give it 10 of 10 stars. Should something happen I would buy this launcher all over again. May even consider as a gift for a family member with 7 dogs.

This ball launcher has been the best thing we ever bought. We have a golden retriever who of course, like most goldens, is ball obsessed. I have thrown my fair share. We've had it a month now and it has survived over and over of constant use. The balls are covered in pure slobber and nastiness but the machine keeps going. We do keep it plugged in and only use it indoors. Sometimes the ball does get stuck but it's easy to push it back through. The only complaint I have, and it's no fault to the company, but we are already on our 2nd pack of replacement balls. Honestly, it's been worth it. I probably should have purchased the bigger size but I didn't want to invest in it if he wouldn't use it. Definitely regretting it now!
