De Rombauer Zinfandel 2020 is een krachtige, maar relatief frisse Californische Zinfandel waarin rijp fruit en zorgvuldige houtopvoeding samenkomen. Wat maakt Zinfandel uit Californië zo herkenbaar? De druif ontwikkelt hier door het warme klimaat een hoge rijpheid, waardoor de wijn bekendstaat om zijn volle structuur en geconcentreerde fruitexpressie.

Deze wijn is gemaakt van Zinfandel, afkomstig uit verschillende wijngaarden in Californië (onder andere Sierra Foothills en Sonoma).

Herkomst: Californië

De druiven voor deze wijn komen uit meerdere wijnregio’s binnen Californië, waar Zinfandel al decennialang een belangrijke rol speelt.

Druif en vinificatie

Zinfandel – Californië
Zinfandel staat bekend om zijn krachtige karakter, diepe kleur en rijpe fruitexpressie.

De fermentatie vindt plaats met gecontroleerde extractie om kleur en structuur op te bouwen. Aansluitend rijpt de wijn deels op eikenhout, wat extra diepte en complexiteit geeft aan het geheel.

Karakter en stijl

In het glas toont deze wijn een diepe robijnrode kleur met paarse reflecties. De stijl wordt gekenmerkt door rijp donker fruit, kruidige tonen en een volle structuur. De combinatie van fruit en hout zorgt voor een krachtige maar gebalanceerde wijn.

Serveer rond 16–18 °C om de structuur en complexiteit volledig tot zijn recht te laten komen.

Over Rombauer Vineyards

Rombauer Vineyards werd opgericht in 1980 in Napa Valley en groeide uit tot een van de bekendere producenten van Californische wijnen. Great moisturizer. While it’s marketed as reversing wrinkles that has not been my experience however I have very thin skin underneath my eyes that is often dry and very dark from allergies. I put this on every day and every night and I have noticed a huge difference in the way, my eyes look. I wouldn’t say it reduces wrinkles, but it definitely is really a great hydrator, especially if you have allergies. It’s very good for sensitive skin. I do use it all over my face, especially around my mouth area as well and again haven’t noticed that it really reduces my wrinkles, but it definitely helps. Hydrate all those sensitive problem areas. I liked it so much. I bought it twice.

Doesn't give instant results like those videos you see but still works good
Ive been seeing so many videos with different people saying how this stuff works instantly on their lines and bags under their eyes. I thought when I got it it was going to be oily because in those videos it literally looks like they have oil on their face. HOWEVER, this is more like a chapstick texture. I tried to use it on my eye bags as soon as I got it but I swear it almost made them look worse. Those videos showing them getting results instantly just aren't true. I've only been using it for a few days and I do see the lines on my forehead & between my eyes are definitely less noticeable so it is doing something so far! My bags however it's just done nothing noticeable for YET. That will probably take a couple weeks to show results. So long story short, if you're thinking about buying this thinking you're going to get the results from those videos going around you'll be disappointed but it does still give results. I will probably update after a couple weeks or however long it takes for my bags under my eyes to go away or to at least see results. My lines on my face aren't very prominent but my bags under my eyes are so we'll see. Also this product isn't greasy I have an oily T zone and this doesn't make my face oily at all. If you don't like how it feels when you rub the stick on your face then use your hands and rub the product in to the skin and it will completely absorb the product.
