The unit provides 100% power to both tires, while still allowing for disengagement while negotiating turns. The Yukon Grizzly Locker is a patented design that features innovations that make it tougher than the competition. I would not scratch so it is either glass or a crystal. the metal seems to be of good quality and the band is comfortable and feels like leather. Overall I am happy with it and will update this review if the situation changes.
