They studied the OEM design and improved it with a greater capacity and cooling efficiency, but still retaining the OEM fitment and stock mounting positions.
The Forge radiator makes a huge improvement over the efficiency of the original radiator by utilizing a thicker water core with improved thermal cooling capability.
With over 20 years in the aftermarket business and expertise in the VAG field, the product is designed with all the refinement that Forge use in their product cooling designs for World Rally Cross.
The new radiator comes with their thermally efficient powder coating on the end tanks to keep the original "stock" appearance. They have maximized the surface area and utilized a high efficiency water core with unique flow enhancements to ensure that the coolant solution passes evenly across the core and that the area of restricted airflow (behind the crash bumper) is taken into account.
