I really like the unusual lamp shade on this piece. It's not what you'd typically see on these kinds of lamps. It has more of the banker style lamp shade shape, rather than the rounder shell shape. This lamp is in beautiful, nicely-worn, reworked condition and is still holding on to much of its vintage character. It has been completely rewired and is ready and safe to use. It's a wonderful piece of decor history.

TLC: If preferred you could do an additional layer of black spray to cover up more of the knicks and marks on the shade. I prefer it showing a bit of wear. I've seen fully sprayed lamps like this and they always seem to lose a bit of their charm. The cast iron and neck seems to be in original condition.
